BURNSVILLE, MN – November, 2009 – Ironwood Electronics’ LA-BGA-LPDDR-SDRAM-01 Logic Analyzer Adapter which allows high-speed operation simultaneously enabling memory device analysis used in PDAs, Cell phones, Digital cameras and MP3 players using a Logic Analyzer or an oscilloscope System. Ironwood’s LA-BGA-LPDDR-SDRAM-01 Logic Analyzer Adapter consists of three parts (BGA adapter, probe board and SMT base). SMT base is soldered to the target system board in place of BGA90, 0.8 pitch, 6×15 array, 8mmX13mm body using standard BGA soldering methods.
The probe board plugs into the SMT base and employs a PCB with power planes to deliver all data, address, control, and clock signals to AMP Mictor connectors. All signals from the BGA land pattern to the Mictor connector on this Logic Analyzer adapter has same length to ensure signal integrity. The LPDDR SDRAM device is surface mounted on to the male BGA adapter which will plug into the female BGA socket soldered to the probe board.
