The Interphase iSPAN® 3650 AdvancedMC™ Quad OC- 3/STM-1 ATM – GE Interworking Card is an intelligent, high-performance ATM to IP interworking solution for bridging cell-based and circuit-based networks. Specialized functions include packet routing/classification, layer 2 and layer 3 traffic switching, and VPN tag switching. Available as a mid-size and full-size AMC, it can be used on AdvancedTCA, MicroTCA, and proprietary platforms.

• Intelligent I/O – The iSPAN 3650 is based on the easyto- program Wintegra™ WinPath2™ Packet Processor, which is purpose-built for I/O network access processing tasks.
• High-Performance ATM to IP Interworking – The iSPAN 3650 delivers unprecedented performance inn IP traffic interworking between ATM AA2/AAL5 and Ethernet with full line rate speeds. Additional pre-developed stacks such as GTP-U, MPLS, etc. are available for integration. Specialized functions include packet routing/classification, simple ATM segmentation and reassembling (SARing), and ATM cell grooming to aggregate line traffic for consolidating lines. The iSPAN 3650 supports 64,000 PVCs, 1 M/s AAL2 CPS packets, 50,000 active CIDs for AAL2 PVCs.
