VTRAN reads simulation/ATPG vector data, performs optional processing, then formats it for popular simulators and testers.

TESTER FORMATS

Once a set of vector data has been read, and optionally processed, the output file format can be selected from any of the following currently available tester & testbench interfaces (in addition to over 25 selectable simulation formats):

Tester Interfaces:

Q-Star

Advantest Credence (SWAV)

Teradyne Catalyst

Teradyne J750, J971/J973

Teradyne FLEX

Verigy (HP) 83000 / 93000, PinScale LTX

Schlumberger ITS9000

Others under development

Testbench Formats:

Verilog (readmem option)

VHDL (textio option)

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • Cyclizing print-on-change simulation vector files, such as VCD files, and formatting output for device testers. This includes the identification and handling of multiple timesets.
  • Translating popular ATPG vector formats such as WGL and STIL, to test programs for popular testers. Includes support for scan data sets and multiple timesets.
  • Translate cycle-based WGL or STIL files into Verilog or VHDL testbenches for simulation verification
  • Convert simulation vectors from one CAE tool into vectors acceptable to another tool. For example, Verilog VCD vectors into HSIM or Nanosim format.
  • For most tester interfaces, VTRAN also includes a ReadBack module which provides a verification path from VTRAN-generated test programs to a Verilog or VHDL testbench. This is especially useful in VCD translations.

TECHNICAL SPECS

  • High performance vector translation between simulation/ATPG and test.
  • Greatly improves productivity in the design-to-test phase of product development.
  • Comprehensive support for all popular simulation/ ATPG/test vector formats.
  • Many powerful user features for masking signals, adding signals, making timing modifications and much more.
  • Available on Solaris and Linux 32/64 bit platforms.
