Ardence Select™

The enhanced end-user experience of instant-on/off functionality and secure, corruption-proof reliability in devices using Windows operating systems provides OEMs with distinct competitive advantages. Select-powered devices bypass the driver loads, OS boot, network configuration, and application loading time, by accessing any of a selection of pre-configured “environments,”
such as a media player, Web browser, and DVR on a media PC.

Set by the OEM or end user, the pre-configured environments
are hardened and viruses cannot permanently install in the system. Any problem the system encounters is fixed by simply powering off the device and turning it back on.

Select enables instant power off as well, with no risk of corruption. This further enhances the user experience, eliminates downtime between usage scenarios and maximizes battery resources.

Ardence RTX® enables product developers to enhance the performance of media applications for Windows based systems. Voice, music, and video applications can run with drastically reduced latencies– ensuring optimized signal quality for professional-grade media applications. By capitalizing on the familiar Windows development and operating environments, RTX applications can be developed
and deployed quickly in house, without requiring specialized tools or 3rd party developers.
