WebSphere Gets an Ajax Booster Shot, Eclipse Ganymede Support

MyEclipse Blue Edition delivers Eclipse 3.4 technology, Ajax for JEE to WebSphere developers

Flower Mound, TX – August 15, 2008 – Genuitec, LLC, the leading provider of the popular MyEclipse integrated development environment (IDE) and a founding member of the Eclipse Foundation, announced today the immediate availability of the first milestone release of MyEclipse 7.0 Blue Edition. This release provides WebSphere developers with advanced Ajax tooling, enhanced reporting technologies and Eclipse 3.4 support, among other enhancements.

“MyEclipse Blue Edition has proven to help WebSphere developers expedite their work flow and take advantage of cutting-edge technologies,” said Wayne Parrott, vice president of product development for Genuitec. “We’re pleased to now offer our users even more capabilities by integrating advanced Ajax tooling and full ALM capabilities into MyEclipse Blue Edition.”

To keep acquisition even smoother, Genuitec is providing Blue Edition users a fast and easy way to acquire MyEclipse 7.0 M1: Pulse, Genuitec’s software profiling and Eclipse plugin management service. Users will have the ability to not only utilize Blue Edition, but also manage their favorite third-party tools in sharable software profiles.
