The RamSan-500 is a cached Flash solid state system that delivers unprecedented high read performance and large capacity storage at a price point that makes SSD more affordable. Compared to a similar capacity high-end hard disk-based RAID system, the RamSan-500 can deliver in excess of sixteen times the performance while using 50% less power. Multiple RamSan-500s can be combined into a RamSan-5000 system to sustain over 1-million IOPS (input/outputs per second) and deliver up to 20 terabytes.

The RamSan-440 is a solid state disk with record high performance, record high capacity for a RAM-based system, and a combination of features that helps ensure the highest availability of data to its users. It’s the world’s first non-volatile RAM-based SSD to sustain up to 600,000 IOPS and deliver up to 512 gigabytes of storage capacity. It’s also the first SSD to use RAIDed NAND Flash storage modules for data backup, and the first system to incorporate Texas Memory Systems’ patented IO² technology.

The RamSan-400 is a RAM-based solid state disk that allows users two distinct modes of data retention, customizable for each LUN on the unit. It is 2x-10x faster than the cache included in popular hard-disk RAID storage systems. Its high bandwidth enables administrators to share the RamSan-400 across multiple hosts without affecting performance.

The RamSan-20 is a very fast, very affordable, Flash-based solid state disk that connects directly into PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect bus) express slots in a server. It brings solid state storage as close as possible to the CPU, minimizing the latency added by hard disk and RAID controllers, network protocols, switches, and the additional hardware and software involved in both NAS and SAN.

The Write Accelerator is an application specific solid state disk specifically designed to increase database performance. It accelerates databases by allowing them to handle substantially greater transaction volumes and add more concurrent users. The Write Accelerator can deliver many times the performance of a standard cached-RAID array and is easily installed and managed.
