Micro-Star International (MSI) has launched MS-9A26, which is designed with latest Intel® Menlow chipset and Intel® Atom™ Silverthorne Z530P CPU, great for applications like industrial control, POS, Kiosk, gaming, digital signage, and satisfied the needs of low power and high performance as well.

MSI MS-9A26 features Intel® GMA500 with full hardware HD video decoder for H.264, MPEG2/4, VC1, and WMV9 formats. The CPU also features dedicated hardware to enable the native support for DirectX® 9Ex and OpenGL® 2.0.

Rich I/O connectivity on MS-9A26 includes DVI-D, HDMI, SDIO 1.1, CompactFlash, 4 USB 2.0 port, and a RS-232/422/485 port. On the other hand, MSI MS-9A26 is equipped with outstanding thermal solution, a fanless design which can avoid defects caused by fan.

The Intel® Atom™ processor is reduced by 80% TDP from previous ULV platform, and Z500 series processor (Silverthorne) on MSI MS-9A26 gains the leadership of Performance-Per-Watt. The latest SSE3 instruction sets of Intel® Atom™ have also enhanced the performance for multimedia and gaming application. In addition to Intel® Atom™ processor, Intel® Menlow XL chipset is a highly integrated chipset with better I/O capability. This combination leads MSI MS-9A26 into a wonderful balance of performance and power consumption.
