AXIOMTEK, an Associate Member of the Intel® Embedded and Communications Alliance (ECA), a community of communications and embedded developers and solution providers, is pleased to launch a high performance fanless embedded system, eBOX620-823-FL, a small, fanless embedded system based on the Intel® Atom™ processor with Intel® System Controller Hub US15WPT. The architecture allows eBOX620-823-FL to offer some new features, such as -40° ~ 70°C extended working temperature, ideal for industrial- grade, critical and ruggedized computing applications, in the field of gaming, outdoor, automotive, COTS military, industrial control, gas, power & electrical equipment and other harsh applications.

The eBOX620-823-FL supports Intel® Atom™ processors Z510P, Z530P, and Z520PT (extended temperature) with 400/533 MHz front side bus, integrated with Intel® System Controller Hub (SCH) US15WPT chipset which makes this system an extreme low power, high performance, high reliability solution. Also, the onboard one bank DDR2 SODIMM socket has a maximum memory capacity of 2GB.

The SCH US15WPT integrated Intel® Graphic Media Accelerator 500 (Intel® GMA 500), memory controller and I/O controller in a single-chip. The Intel® GMA 500 features advanced 2D/3D powerful graphic performance, highdefinition video decode and image processing. Intel® GMA 500 also has a maximum DVMT sharing system memory up to 256 MB, the CRT resolution could support maximum 1280×1024 pixel.

The eBOX620-823-FL provides various I/O features, such as 6 USB 2.0 ports, 2 serial ports, VGA, 1 PS/2 keyboard/ mouse port and Line-out/Mic-in audio connector. It also provides internal 2.5” SATA driver bay, CompactFlash type-II slot for data storage support. One PCI-E based gigabit LAN provide max. connective capability. There is one internal MiniCard slot and one SMA-type antenna opening for more expansion, user could easily install a Mini-card for WIFI, Bluetooth, 2G/3G or other device for flexible applications.
