ADL Embedded Solutions Inc., a leading provider of high-performance embedded solutions, has announced today its compact ADLE3900SEC SBC with Edge-Connect. This ultra-small 75mm x 75mm form factor is a full-featured, standalone SBC based on Intel’s E3900-series Atom. The Edge-Connect architecture allows for added I/O expansion and connectors in a variety of baseboard / breakout board configurations and its compact size makes it ideal for retrofitting into existing infrastructure.

At 75mm x 75mm the ADLE3900SEC is ideal for rugged, extended temperature intelligent systems with stringent size, weight, and power (SWAP) requirements. It boasts a wide thermal junction temperature (Tj) range (-40C to +110C), wide input voltage (20-30VDC), DisplayPort, USB2.0, USB3.0 and two GLAN ports with support for DirectX 12, Open GL 4.1 and 4K resolution @ 60Hz with full HD video playback.
