Business Model

As the ASIC designs are getting very complex, and also with the ever changing engineering
priorities, keeping the execution on track and meeting the design delivery goals is
becoming very hard for design groups. Understanding the market dynamic, TTM has flexible

engagement models:

On-Site Support

Design groups go through many a changes during a design cycle, that includes resource
attrition, product delivery schedule changes, design scope changes etc., In all these it
is very difficult for any design manager to predict and deliver on schedule. With
TTMís high skilled ASIC design engineers, customers can bring TTM engineers
on-board and get the schedules on track. In this model, TTM provides engineering resources
to specific groups for a defined period of time to work at customerís site.

Complete COT Support

Most of the design groups do not have enough exposure to all the key areas of an ASIC
development. Largely because of limited funds available, or tight design schedules. In
this model, TTM assumes the responsibility of designing and delivering the end product to
customers. There are different entry points for this model, customers can engage with TTM
at specification stage, architecture stage etc., and the end point can be either a GDS-II
release to a specific fabrication (TSMC/UMC/etc.,) or can get tested ASIC parts directly
from TTM. In this model, our customers can advantage of our cost models, because of our
off-shore design facilities. TTM is partnering with one of the leading COT services
providers for TSMC Fab.

Offshore Design Center (ODC) Support

Majority of the semiconductor companies opening their operations in India for cost cutting
reasons. Not many companies have the luxury of man power, time, and money to start from
scratch to set up operations in India. In this model, TTM will build a design team based
on our customer needs and operates it for an agreed upon time and then transfer the team
to our customer. This model is very efficient for the companies who want to start the
operations in an accelerated manner, but at the same time keep the cost and control under
them.
