PIC24 “GC” Intelligent Analog Family with eXtreme Low Power

Microchip’s intelligent PIC® MCUs integrate analog functions such as high performance ADCs, DACs and op amps simplifying interface to the analog world. A single-chip solution enables reduced system noise and provides higher throughput, while dramatically reducing design time and cost. Combined with XLP for maximizing battery life, these MCUs are ideal for portable applications with interface to precision sensors, such as environmental quality sensors, portable medical equipment, such as glucose meters, portable ECGs, pulse oximeters, blood pressure meters and industrial equipment such as gas sensors, handheld multi-meters and other sensor arrays.

Features & Benefits

  • Integrated, intelligent analog peripherals eliminate the complicated task of debugging system level noise, provide consistent analog performance and simplify board level design with better signal integrity
  • Complete analog system on a chip, including precision ADCs, DAC and op amps
  • Integrated USB, LCD and touch sensing ideal for medical and industrial applications
  • Low Power technology allows many applications to run for 10 years on a coin cell or longer with AAA batteries
  • Save board area, board cost and design time by using integrated analog peripherals
