The Schroff Varistar cabinet features a modular, flexible design and a comprehensive range of accessories that allow it to be tailored to meet specific medical electronics performance requirements.  It is constructed from roll formed steel for added strength and security and features multiple protection configurations including passive, active and water-cooled thermal control, seismic Zone 4, IP 20/55, and EMC protection.  EMC and IP protection are built into the cabinet covers with a resulting improvement in EMI performance without the need for costly frame pre-treatments.

Varistar cabinets are available with perforated, Plexiglas, open, and solid front doors.  Rear and side panels are available with lock-on or screw-on mounting options.

Accessories include a variety of top covers, standard and seismic bases, telescoping and fixed shelving, slide rails, depth members, panel slide mounts, joining kits, casters, leveling feet, combined casters and leveling feet, lifting eyes, and a wide range of cable management options.  The Varistar cabinet is available in 12U-47U x 600mm-800mm x 600mm-1200mm sizes.

The Schroff Eurorack cabinet is available in 19” and universal 19”, 23” and 24” versions.  The Eurorack cabinet offers a static load carrying capacity of 880 lbs.  It is available from 12U to 47U and a full range of accessories including, various bases, grounding kits, gasketing options, equipment shelves, and clear glass, smoked glass or Plexiglas doors.

Midas Mini cabinets are designed for desk height and wall-mounted applications that require a lighter weight, smaller cabinet.  They fit in space-constrained locations such as operating rooms, radiology, oncology and cardiology departments, as well as applications requiring easy mobility including surgical areas, emergency rooms and clinical laboratories.  These cabinets are available in 6U to 34U heights and a range of standard colors to match corporate colors.

19” Midas cabinets feature welded 14 and 16-gauge frame construction in a unibody design for service in high use medical applications.  Standard Midas cabinets in a standard color ship in 10 days.  Midas and Midas Mini cabinets can be modified and fully customized to meet virtually any medical application requirement.

All Pentair Technical Products and Schroff cabinets for medical equipment enclosure applications can be painted using the powder coating process to match specific décor requirements.
