Themis Announces RES-XR4 Rack Mountable Servers with E5 Intel Xeon Processors

Fremont, CA, United States – Themis Computer® today announced the next generation of RES-XR4 Rack Mountable Servers for mission-critical applications in harsh environments. RES-XR4 systems combine the robust design of the RES rack mountable server family with the latest E-5 Intel® Xeon® processors with four, six, or eight Core Xeons, and up to 256 GB DDR3 ECC. The Intel Xeon processor E5 family addresses the proliferating growth of connected users, devices, and data traffic in the cloud through record-breaking performance, exceptional energy efficiency, breakthrough I/O innovation, and built-in security features.

RES-XR4 servers feature expansion slots, extensive high-speed I/O, and multiple storage options that provide users with configuration versatility and system expansion to meet current and future system requirements. Themis’ extensive thermal and kinetic management expertise makes these high-performance systems suitable for mission-critical applications in demanding environments.
