In November 2016 SYSGO was certified by DQS GmbH according to the ISO/IEC standard 27001:2013. DQS as independent auditors, confirm that the manufacturer of operating systems and development tools for embedded applications has a comprehensive information security management system (ISMS) at all locations and has implemented secure, documented processes.
The integrated management system from SYSGO is based on a comprehensive quality management system and information security. The quality management system at SYSGO was successfully certified in 2015 as one of the first in Germany according to ISO 9001:2015. Based on this system, SYSGO has analysed and optimised all processes within the company with regard to efficiency and above all security – from physical access to communication security to business continuity management and compliance.
“With our software our customers develop safety-critical systems for industrial applications in the aerospace, railway and automotive industry”, says Sybil VR Kleinmichel, Vice President of Quality and CISO at SYSGO. “We also support them during the certification of such systems. Our customers must be sure that partners like SYSGO have also implemented secure processes in-house and protect all valuable data. We guarantee this security with our certification according to ISO/IEC 27001:2013.”
ISO/IEC 27001 specifies the requirements for producing, introducing, operating, monitoring, servicing and improving a documented information security management system. In the process, it also takes individual risks within the entire organisation into account. The objective of the standard is to support companies in guaranteeing data protection and information security while complying with legal regulations.
