The Magma and MIPS RTL-to-GDSII Reference Design Flow is an excellent out-of-the-box solution that enables designers to deploy the MIPS32 24K/34K/74K cores quickly and confidently. This tightly integrated flow lets designers achieve high frequencies such as 850 MHz (24KE© core in a 90-nm GT process with high speed memories) and 1.12GHz (74Kc© core in a 65-nm GP process), while meeting other critical design requirements. At 90-nm and below, it is critical to minimize dynamic power consumption and leakage while ensuring uniform power distribution.
