The ETXexpress-PC module incorporates the latest 45 nm generations of Intel® Core™2 Duo processors with the new SSE4 instruction set and the Intel’s new GS45 chipset (small form factor package). With this combination of technologies on board, the ETXexpress-PC sets new standards for COM solutions by offering top performance in the PICMG COM Express™ “basic” form factor (pin-out type 2), an optimal total power envelop of <45W for the complete system and up to 8GB of fast DDR3 system memory.

Kontron COM modules also offer advantages for ultra mobile applications with available solutions in the form of microETXexpress modules (95mm x 95mm) and the upcoming nanoETXexpress modules (55mm x 84mm).
