New rectifiers with increased current capability



NXP extends its Schottky rectifier portfolio with two new high temperature products, PMEG6030EVP and PMEG6045ETP, in the small FlatPower plastic package SOD128. With a reverse voltage of VR ≤  60 V and a forward current up to 4.5 A, PMEG6045ETP and PMEG6030EVP combine low forward voltage VF and high current capabilities, a first for rectifiers in such a small plastic package. Boosting the maximum junction temperature up to 175 °C, these devices are ideal for the high temperature environments of automotive or industrial application. High efficiency DC-to-DC conversion also makes them an optimal choice for power adapters for smartphones and tablet PCs.
