IT administrators can also choose to control their Deep Freeze deployment through any third-party desktop management solution that supports command line control.

Faronics also offers plug-ins for LANDesk Management Suite and Novell ConsoleOne that allow Deep Freeze to be controlled natively through these respective desktop management solutions. The Mac OS X edition of Deep Freeze can be managed through Apple Remote Desktop.

Deep Freeze’s protection status can also be controlled through several anti-virus solutions, making it easy for virusdefinition files to be updated.
