Network-enabled ConnectCore modules are highly integrated, future-proof System-on-Module (SOM) solutions based on high-performance ARM microprocessors. They include multimedia audio and display options and a complete set of peripherals.

These modules combine the fast integration, reliability and design flexibility of an off-the-shelf SOM with complete out-of-the-box software development support for Microsoft Windows Embedded CE 6.0.

Digi JumpStart Kits® for Microsoft Windows Embedded CE 6.0 provide all the hardware and software components needed for immediate software development on ConnectCore module platforms. This includes support for all processor platforms and features such as power management, multimedia interfaces, and other peripherals. Additionally, a 180-day Visual Studio 2005 and Windows Embedded CE 6.0 evaluation CD is included.

ConnectCore modules are available for wired networking (10/100 Ethernet) or 802.11 wireless networking. Modules are pin-compatible, making it easy to deploy products using wired or wireless networks. Complete Windows CE wireless drivers are included in the Board Support Package (BSP). Modules deployed in North America, Europe and Japan are pre-certified, saving the time and cost of wireless product certification.
